To Whom it May Concern: The following is a reference concerning Jane Pennington, Wedding Consultant and owner of Blair Weddings and Events. My husband and I got married on June 28, 2003. With the help of Jane Pennington, our wedding ceremony and reception turned out beautiful. With Jane's creativity, helpful advice, listening ears, and organizational abilities, the planning of our wedding turned out to be quite a smooth process. Despite the fact that my mother and I had several disagreements about how the wedding should be conducted, Jane was always there to listen to all of my frustrations. I am a "people pleaser" and through the conversations and discussions I had with Jane, I was able to balance my own wants and needs, as well as, my families' desires concerning the most important day of my life. On the day of our wedding, the florist was scheduled to deliver our flowers at 8:00 am in order to insure that pictures could be taken before our ceremony at 11:00 am. Despite the fact that all times and dates were confirmed with the florist the week prior to our wedding, the florist did not show up at 8:00 am. Quickly Jane began calling the florist, in which she found out the florist had the wrong time listed for our wedding. The florist stated that the delivery time was set for 5:00 pm and not 8:00 am. Of course, I was worried that the flowers would not arrive on time. Yet with Jane's coordinating abilities and assertiveness, the flowers arrived just in time for me to walk down the aisle with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. In all, Jane Pennington was a great support system for me through all of the planning, coordinating, and even up to the day I said "I do". I hope this reference is helpful and hope the best for your upcoming wedding. Sincerely, Jennifer
What did you say? Oh Nooooo, you want to get married? Where, When, How many guests? Yes those are the questions that popped into my mind the second my daughter and future son-in-law told me of their intentions. Of course they asked here father for his blessings. He says yes and he is a here, but besides paying for the wedding, he is done until the day of. But for us moms, well it is a whole different story. The only word that came to my mind was an easy on...HELP!!! Now who can help me with all the endless calls, arrangements, out of town guests, vendors, invitations, etc, etc, etc. Superwoman, that's who! Yes she does exist and she goes under a more conventional title, called a professional wedding planner. Yes, it is extra money to put out, but after you ask yourself how you want to remember your daughter's wedding, trust me, running around like a chicken without its head in not at the top of the list. If you are as lucky as I am, you will get two for the price of one....a Wedding Planner and a friend. I chose the House of Blair, Ms. Jane Pennington solely on one line on her web page, which stated the "3 R's"......Rest, Relax, Release. The second line was not too bad either....every bride has a story, let me help you get your story told. I have thoroughly enjoyed the friendship of my planner and when things get too stresses over here, she is a phone call away and within minutes, she has me calm again. So you moms out there, if you feel the way I do, which is to enjoy the fruits of my labor preparing a wedding, then you should seek a Wedding Planner where you and your daughter can enjoy a nice lunch together while someone like Jane over at the House of Blair picks up the slack. Don't you think you deserve the "3 R's" too? Signed, A happy relieved Mother of the Bride in Suwanee Angela
