As a direct descendent of Blair House, the official guest residence of the White House in Washington D.C., where Foreign Dignitaries, Kings and Queens, Heads of State lodge, and the President Elect resides (before moving into the White House), thus, the House of Blair Weddings and Events legacy began. We are proud of our Irish Heritage and connection with American's rich history and the Blair House, which began with Francis Preston Blair. Jane Pennington, is a native of Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Letourneau University with a B.S. in Business Management before transferring to the Atlanta area 10 years ago. Jane began in the Wedding Industry with floral preservation of bridal bouquets, and then furthered her education by becoming a Professional Wedding Consultant and Event Planner for social and corporate events. Jane currently holds one chair positions with the Association of Professional Wedding Consultants, as well as a chair position with the Pilot Club where they work in the community with charities. Passionate about weddings, social and corporate event planning, Jane has also taken several awards for her designs at various Atlanta Garden Shows. Jane loves weddings, rehearsal dinners and bridal showers, but is not limited to weddings in her coordination expertise. She also is a corporate function planner for the convention and tradeshow business, company parties for Christmas, holidays, picnics, family, high school, or college reunions, customer or employee appreciation, birthday event planner for milestone birthdays such as 30th, 40th and 50th, or any other birthday where you want to combine elegance with a special theme idea, bar or bat mitzvahs, fundraising social parties, and Quinceaneras.
